Support Us

Ulvira, D.R. Congo and the surrounding area is in need of Christ. We are here to be the hands and feet of Christ and to see that need fulfilled. We need help. Funds go a long way in how we can effectively do ministry here. We ask you to consider supporting us to fulfill the call God has on this place.

There are two ways you can support us. If you wish to get a tax ID number  you can send a donor-preferenced gift to YWAM, PO box 3000, Garden Valley, TX 75771-3000. The checks must be made out to YWAM. Please do not put our name on the checks, attach a note saying to like to check to go to Jonni Byrne. They will mail you a receipt with your tax ID  number on it. Please send us an email so we know who sent us the money and what ministry you would like it to go too.

Or you can give us money through  GoFundMe.com. You can find our fund page here. Please contact us for more questions.

Below you will find a list of needs as we move forward in ministry.

  • A vehicle. Since we go to the villages a lot we want to have a car that can help us go to and from the villages whenever we need.
  • Laptop and Printer. This would help us with our day to day work. Sending emails, printing our important papers and helping us be organized.
  • Projector. We have the Jesus film and other Christian films in one of the local languages. This will help us to spread the word of Christ to the unreached tribes.
  • Building Funds.
    • Start a School. As a ministry we understand the importance of education. We want to have a school the provides a christian education.
    • Start a Chicken Farm. Once we have a chicken farm, we can sell the eggs to raise money for the children's school supplies. This will also help the community as we can provide jobs and sell eggs at a good price. Most people get their eggs from Burundi or from far away, this makes the eggs very expensive.
    • Start a Pig Farm. We want to start a pig farm up in our villages. Piglets sell for a lot of money and would help provide money for school fees, the clinic and the churches.
    • Home Base. As a ministry we need a home base. This base is where we would hold Bible studies, training, host visitors and hold our ministry.
  • Personal Support. We must be able to survive and thrive here where God has called us. Food, travel, shelter all costs us money. As missionaries we would like to buy some land and build a home. We would like it to be near or even in the same compound as our base.
